Minority Rights: A commitment to preserving and advancing the rights of individuals and groups who are in some way marginalized, discriminated against, or underrepresented within a larger community or society. Humanitarians and other advocates for social justice work tirelessly to ensure that these rights are recognized and upheld, and that members of minority communities have an equal voice in shaping the policies and decisions that affect their lives.
