Women's Health Issues refers to a range of health concerns that are specific to, more prevalent in, or have different impacts on women compared to men. These issues encompass physical, mental, and reproductive health and can span all life stages from adolescence to old age. Women's Health Issues may include but are not limited to: breast cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), menstrual disorders, menopause, osteoporosis, gestational diabetes, and mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. Women's Health Issues also encompass social determinants of health, such as gender-based violence, socioeconomic status, and access to healthcare. The goal of addressing Women's Health Issues is to promote equity in health outcomes and improve the overall health and well-being of women.
