Project Based Learning (PBL) in Education and Vocational Education refers to an instructional approach where students actively explore real-world challenges and problems through projects, often working in teams. It is a student-centered pedagogy that integrates subject matter knowledge and skills, promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication, and allows for the demonstration of understanding and mastery of content in authentic ways. PBL provides opportunities for students to apply their learning to real-world scenarios, fostering engagement and motivation, and preparing them for future education and career success. Teacher Professional Development in PBL focuses on building educators' capacity to design, implement, and assess effective projects that align with standards and support student learning outcomes.
