Language Arts
Language Arts refers to the study and application of reading, writing, speaking, listening, viewing, and visually representing in English. It encompasses various communication skills, including grammar, vocabulary, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, sentence structure, paragraph organization, listening comprehension, and oral presentation. In special education or special services education, language arts instruction is tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, using adaptive strategies and accommodations as necessary to ensure accessibility and promote learning. The goal of language arts education is to develop students' ability to effectively communicate in English, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.
