Definition of Inclusion Education as it relates to Education, Social Studies Education, African History Education

Inclusion Education: A pedagogical approach that values and fosters the full participation, learning, and growth of every student, regardless of their abilities, backgrounds, or identities, in all aspects of education. It encompasses the integration of diverse learners into general education classrooms and curricula, while providing necessary accommodations and support to ensure their success. Inclusion Education is grounded in the principles of social justice, equity, and respect for human diversity, and it applies to all areas of education, including Social Studies Education and African History Education. It encourages critical thinking, empathy, and cross-cultural understanding, and it seeks to prepare students to be active and responsible members of a diverse and interconnected world.
