Definition of Diversity Education as it relates to Education, Social Studies Education, African History Education
Diversity Education: A field dedicated to fostering understanding and respect for human differences, including race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs, and political ideologies. It encompasses various disciplines such as education, social studies education, African history education, among others, with the aim of promoting inclusivity, equity, and social justice in educational settings and beyond.
