General Education refers to a broad-based and holistic approach to education that aims to provide students with foundational knowledge, skills, and values across various disciplines. It is designed to foster intellectual growth, critical thinking, effective communication, and ethical development. General Education courses may cover topics in the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and mathematics, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary learning and real-world applications. These courses aim to develop well-rounded individuals who are prepared for citizenship, lifelong learning, and meaningful engagement in a complex and diverse world.
