This involves recognizing and addressing systemic barriers that prevent marginalized groups from fully participating in and benefiting from the educational experience. It also means actively promoting diversity, representation, and inclusivity in physical education theory, curriculum, and teaching practices. The goal of equity and inclusion is to ensure that every student feels valued, respected, and supported, and has a sense of belonging in the educational community.
