Child Development encompasses the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth and changes that occur in a child from birth to the end of adolescence. It is concerned with understanding how children develop and learn, and how various factors such as genetics, environment, culture, and education influence their development. Child Development includes the study of children's physical growth and motor development, cognitive development (such as problem-solving, memory, and language), social and emotional development (such as self-esteem, peer relationships, and emotion regulation), and moral and ethical development. It also involves understanding how to support and promote healthy child development through appropriate education, physical activity, and other interventions. Physical Education and Exercise Science are key components of Child Development as they focus on the importance of physical activity and exercise in promoting children's overall health and well-being.
