Mathematics Education
Mathematics Education encompasses the teaching and learning of mathematical concepts, skills, and processes. It involves the development of curricula, instructional materials and strategies, assessment tools, and professional development programs that foster mathematical understanding and proficiency among students from early childhood through adulthood. Mathematics Education also includes the study of how people learn mathematics, the historical and cultural contexts of mathematics, and the role of technology in mathematics learning. It is an interdisciplinary field that draws on insights and methods from education, psychology, sociology, philosophy, and mathematics itself to improve mathematics teaching and learning.
