It encompasses the development of critical thinking skills, ethical reasoning, spiritual growth, and intercultural competence, as well as the promotion of social justice, peace, and human dignity. It can take place in various settings, including schools, homes, communities, and places of worship, and can involve a variety of pedagogical approaches, such as dialogue, reflection, experiential learning, and service.
