Error Coins
Error Coins refer to rare and unusual coins that exhibit unique flaws or mistakes in their production, making them highly sought after by collectors. These coins can result from errors in the minting process, such as off-center strikes, double strikes, broad strikes, or clipped planchets. They may also feature die cracks, cuds, or other irregularities that add to their value and desirability. Error Coins are a subset of Numismatics, which is the study and collection of currency, including coins, paper money, and medals. As such, they share many characteristics with other collectibles, such as Stamps, in terms of their rarity, condition, and historical significance. However, Error Coins are unique in that they represent a deviation from the intended design or production process, adding an element of surprise and excitement to the collecting experience.
