Sculpture embodies the art of creating three-dimensional figures and objects by carving, modeling, casting, or assembling material such as stone, wood, metal, glass, or clay. It is a tangible expression of artistic vision, where the artist sculpts and molds the medium to bring life to an idea or concept. Sculptures can be realistic or abstract, small enough to hold in your hand or monumental in scale, permanent or temporary. They are often standalone pieces but can also be integrated into architecture and the environment. Sculpture has a rich history, spanning ancient civilizations to contemporary art movements, and continues to be a powerful medium for artistic expression and communication.
