Public Affairs refers to the strategic communication and engagement efforts undertaken by an organization to build and maintain positive relationships with its external environment, particularly with regard to government entities, regulatory bodies, and the general public. It encompasses activities such as public relations, lobbying, issues management, media relations, and community outreach. The goal of public affairs is to create a favorable image and reputation for the organization, influence policy decisions in its favor, and foster trust and understanding with key stakeholders.
