Human Resources Management
Financial Management involves the strategic planning, organization, direction and control of financial activities in an organization or project. It encompasses the processes of budgeting, forecasting, accountability, cost control, and financial reporting to ensure that an entity's resources are used effectively and efficiently. In the context of business, financial management focuses on maximizing shareholder value through sound investment decisions and effective resource allocation. For project management, it ensures that projects are delivered within budget and on time, by monitoring and controlling costs, cash flow, and financial risks. A Project Management Office (PMO) often plays a key role in financial management by establishing standards, processes, and tools to support financial management across all projects within an organization.
