Global Business

Definition of Global Business as it relates to Business, International Business, International Business Management

Financial Management encompasses the strategic planning, organizing, directing and controlling of a business's financial resources in order to achieve its objectives. It involves budgeting, forecasting, managing cash flow, financial reporting and analysis, investment decisions, risk management, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. In an international context, Financial Management becomes even more complex due to differences in currencies, economies, laws, and business practices. Thus, International Financial Management requires a global perspective, understanding of international monetary systems, foreign exchange markets, and the ability to manage financial risks associated with international operations. Similarly, International Business Management incorporates Financial Management skills, but on a broader scale, encompassing all aspects of managing a business in an international context, including marketing, human resources, operations, and supply chain management.
