Entrepreneurship

Definition of Entrepreneurship as it relates to Business, Financial Management, Financial Planning

Economics is the social science that studies how individuals, organizations, and societies allocate scarce resources to satisfy their wants and needs. It encompasses various subfields, including business, financial management, and financial planning. At its core, economics seeks to understand the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services in an economy, as well as the behavior of consumers, firms, and governments that shape these processes. Business economics, for instance, applies economic theories and concepts to decision-making within organizations, while financial management and planning involve applying economic principles to manage and allocate financial resources efficiently. Ultimately, economics provides a framework for understanding how individuals and societies make choices and tradeoffs in the face of scarcity, and how these decisions impact overall economic outcomes.
