Definition of Community Relations as it relates to Business, Corporate Communication, Nonverbal Business Communication
Community Relations refers to the strategic initiatives and ongoing communication efforts undertaken by a business or corporation to engage with and contribute positively to the local communities in which they operate. This may involve nonverbal business communication such as corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, sponsorships, volunteer work, and other forms of community outreach. The goal of community relations is to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with local stakeholders, enhance the company's reputation, and promote long-term success in a socially responsible manner.
