Dark Lager

Definition of Dark Lager as it relates to Beverages, Alcoholic Beverages, NonAlcoholic Beers

Dark Lagers are characterized by their rich, dark color and smooth, full-bodied flavor. They are brewed using roasted malts which give them their distinctive color and taste, but unlike stouts or porters, they have a more subtle, balanced malt profile with moderate hop bitterness. These beers can range in alcohol content from non-alcoholic to around 6% ABV and are enjoyed for their complex yet approachable flavor profile.
