Oil Coolers
Ignition wires are an essential component in an automotive engine's ignition system, responsible for transmitting high voltage from the ignition coil to the spark plugs in order to generate the spark that ignites the air-fuel mixture within the engine's cylinders. They are typically made of a central conductor, such as copper or aluminum, surrounded by insulation material and covered by a protective outer layer. Ignition wires must be able to withstand high temperatures and electrical resistance while maintaining consistent performance, making them critical for ensuring reliable engine operation. In automotive restoration projects, replacing worn or damaged ignition wires can significantly improve engine performance and reduce the risk of misfiring or stalling.
