Automotive Fog Lights
DRLs, or Daytime Running Lights, are low-intensity lights that are automatically activated when a vehicle's engine is running during daylight hours. They are designed to increase the visibility of a vehicle to other road users and pedestrians in order to improve safety. DRLs can be found as part of an automotive lighting system, which may also include headlights, taillights, fog lights, and interior lighting. Automotive lighting fixtures refer to the physical components that house and protect these light sources, such as bulbs, LEDs, or HIDs, and their associated wiring and electrical connections. DRLs are an important aspect of automotive lighting, as they help to ensure that a vehicle can be seen by others even in bright sunlight.
