Automotive Battery
An automotive battery, also known as a car battery, is a rechargeable battery designed to provide power to an automobile's electrical systems, such as the starter motor and ignition system. It stores energy in the form of chemical energy, which is converted into electrical energy when needed. This energy is used to power the starter motor, which cranks the engine, and the ignition system, which generates a spark to ignite the fuel in the engine's cylinders. The battery also provides power to other electrical systems in the vehicle, such as the lights, radio, and windshield wipers. An automotive battery is typically a lead-acid battery, which consists of lead plates submerged in an electrolyte solution. These batteries are designed to withstand the rigors of automotive use, including frequent charging and discharging, and are built to last for several years.
