Constructivism

Definition of Constructivism as it relates to Art, Conceptual Art, Modern Art

Postmodern Art: A movement in visual art emerging in the mid-to-late 20th century, characterized by skepticism towards grand narratives and objective truths, as well as an emphasis on cultural pluralism and individual interpretation. It often incorporates elements of other art movements such as Conceptual Art, which prioritizes ideas over visual form, and Minimalist Art, which emphasizes simplicity and reduction in form and content. Postmodern Art frequently challenges traditional notions of aesthetics, representation, and the role of the artist, instead embracing fragmentation, irony, and paradox.
