Green Infrastructure
Eco-Friendly Materials in Architecture refers to the use of sustainable, environmentally responsible materials and resources in the design and construction of buildings and structures. These materials are carefully selected based on their minimal impact on the environment, reduced carbon footprint, and ability to conserve natural resources. Eco-Friendly Materials can include rapidly renewable resources such as bamboo and straw bale, recycled materials like reclaimed wood and plastic bottles, and low-embodied energy materials like rammed earth and compressed earth blocks. The use of these materials promotes sustainable architecture, biomimicry in architecture, and contributes to the creation of healthier, more comfortable living spaces while minimizing waste and pollution.
