Postmodern Architecture
Muhammadan Architecture, also known as Islamic Architecture, encompasses a wide range of both secular and religious styles that have developed over centuries in the lands where Islam has been the dominant religion. It is characterized by its use of geometric and arabesque patterns, symmetry, intricate ornamentation, and calligraphy. The architecture reflects the belief system and values of the Islamic faith, with mosques, madrasas, mausoleums, and palaces being some of its most iconic structures. In addition to these religious buildings, Muhammadan Architecture also includes residential homes, public baths, marketplaces, and forts, all of which showcase the ingenuity and craftsmanship of Islamic artists and architects throughout history.
