Semantic Web
The Semantic Web can be thought of as an extension of the traditional World Wide Web, aimed at making data more understandable and useful to both humans and machines. It introduces a standardized way of representing and sharing data on the web, enabling better integration, querying, and analysis of information from diverse sources. By providing a common framework for encoding meaning into data, it facilitates automated reasoning and decision-making, ultimately unlocking new possibilities in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the Internet of Things. As part of the Machine Learning Methods hierarchy, Semantic Web focuses on enabling machines to better understand, interpret, and learn from the vast amounts of data available online, thereby enhancing their ability to make informed decisions and predictions.
