Hematologic
Hematologic refers to the branch of medicine that focuses on the study, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders related to blood and the organs that produce it, such as the bone marrow, spleen, and lymph nodes. This field encompasses a wide range of conditions, including anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, and various clotting disorders. Hematologic specialists, known as hematologists, are trained to evaluate and manage these disorders through a combination of medical therapies, blood transfusions, and stem cell transplants.
