Health Disparities
Health disparities refer to differences in health outcomes and access to healthcare services among different populations. These differences are often influenced by factors such as race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, age, geographic location, and disability status. Health disparities can result in certain groups experiencing higher rates of disease, disability, and mortality compared to others. Addressing health disparities involves identifying and understanding the root causes of these inequities and implementing strategies to reduce them.
