Hatshepsut

Hatshepsut was the fifth pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt and one of the few female rulers in Ancient Egyptian history. She reigned between 1479 and 1458 BC and is known for her successful reign, extensive building projects, and promotion of trade. Hatshepsut was portrayed as a male pharaoh in many depictions, wearing the traditional pharaoh's attire of a kilt, headdress, and false beard. She was a powerful and influential leader who left a lasting legacy in Egyptian history.
