Hairballs

Hairballs are compact masses of hair that have been ingested by animals, typically cats, as a result of grooming themselves. These clumps of hair can accumulate in the stomach or intestines and are eventually vomited up by the animal. Hairballs can vary in size and frequency depending on the individual animal and their grooming habits. They are a common occurrence in many household pets and can sometimes cause discomfort or health issues if not passed or eliminated properly. Regular grooming and appropriate diet can help prevent the formation of hairballs in animals.
