Haftorahs
Haftorahs are selections from the books of the Prophets in the Hebrew Bible that are read publicly in synagogues on Shabbat and holidays following the reading of the Torah portion. These readings often relate thematically to the corresponding Torah portion and provide additional insights and teachings for the congregation to reflect upon. The practice of reading Haftorahs dates back to ancient times and continues to be an integral part of Jewish worship and tradition.
