Guillemots

Guillemots are seabirds in the auk family, typically found in northern regions. They have a distinctive black and white plumage, with some species displaying bright colorful markings. Guillemots are skilled swimmers and divers, using their wings to propel themselves underwater in search of fish and other prey. They nest in large colonies on rocky cliffs, laying their eggs on narrow ledges or in crevices. Guillemots are known for their loud, raucous calls and social behavior within their colonies.
