Guenon Monkeys
Guenon monkeys are a diverse group of Old World monkeys found in sub-Saharan Africa. They are known for their colorful fur patterns, long tails, and distinctive facial markings. Guenons are highly social animals, living in groups known as troops, and are skilled climbers, spending much of their time in the trees. They primarily feed on fruits, leaves, seeds, and insects. With over two dozen species, guenon monkeys exhibit a wide range of behaviors and adaptations to their varied habitats.
