Great Wall
A series of fortifications made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials, built along the historical northern borders of China to protect against invasions and raids. The most famous and well-preserved section is the one built by the Ming Dynasty, stretching over 13,000 miles and featuring watchtowers, troop barracks, and beacon towers.
