Grapeshot
Grapeshot refers to a type of artillery ammunition consisting of a cluster of small metal balls or bullets packed into a canvas bag or canister. When fired, the grapeshot scatters in all directions, causing widespread damage to enemy troops and equipment within range. This type of ammunition was commonly used in cannons during the 17th to 19th centuries for anti-personnel purposes in warfare.
