Governance Policies
Governance Policies refer to a set of established rules, regulations, guidelines, and procedures that govern the decision-making processes and overall management within an organization. These policies are designed to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with legal and ethical standards, as well as to promote effective and efficient operations. Governance policies typically cover a wide range of areas, including but not limited to, financial management, conflict of interest, board composition, risk management, and ethical conduct. They serve as a framework for guiding and directing the actions of individuals and groups involved in the governance of an organization.
