Godchild
A godchild is a person for whom one has accepted the responsibility of acting as a sponsor in a religious ceremony, often a baptism. The godparent typically takes on the role of providing guidance, support, and spiritual mentorship to the godchild throughout their life. This relationship is often considered to be a special and significant bond, with the godparent playing a key role in the godchild's upbringing and moral development.
