Geyser Basins
Geyser basins are areas of geothermal activity characterized by numerous hot springs, geysers, mud pots, and fumaroles. These basins are typically found in volcanic regions and are a result of underground water being heated by magma, then rising to the surface through cracks in the earth's crust. The water is often superheated, causing it to erupt in spectacular displays of steam and boiling water.
