Ganglion

A ganglion is a round, fluid-filled swelling or cyst that develops along a tendon or joint, typically on the back of the wrist or hand. Ganglions are noncancerous and are usually harmless, causing mild pain or discomfort. They may vary in size and can sometimes disappear on their own. Ganglions are commonly associated with repetitive motion or joint stress, and may require medical intervention if they cause persistent pain or interfere with movement.
