Futures Options
Futures options are financial derivatives that give the holder the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell a futures contract at a specified price on or before a specified date. These options allow investors to hedge against price fluctuations in the underlying futures contracts or speculate on the direction of their prices. Futures options are traded on organized exchanges and can be used to manage risk or enhance investment returns in various asset classes such as commodities, currencies, and financial instruments.
