Friday Prayer
Prayers that are performed by Muslims every Friday, usually congregationally in a mosque and led by an imam. This prayer is considered a communal obligation for Muslim men and is an important ritual in Islam. The Friday Prayer consists of a sermon (khutbah) followed by a two-unit prayer (salat) known as the Jumu'ah prayer. It is considered a special and significant day for Muslims to come together, listen to the sermon, and engage in collective worship.
