French Post-Impressionist Art refers to the artistic movement that emerged in France in the late 19th century, following the Impressionist movement. Artists associated with this style, such as Paul Cézanne, Vincent van Gogh, and Georges Seurat, sought to move beyond the naturalistic representation of light and color characteristic of Impressionism.
