Foxgloves

Foxgloves are a group of tall, showy wildflowers known for their tubular, bell-shaped blossoms that grow in clusters along a tall, slender stem. These flowers typically come in shades of pink, purple, white, and sometimes yellow, and are commonly found in woodland areas and meadows. Foxgloves are known for their toxicity, containing digitalis glycosides that can be harmful if ingested. Despite their toxicity, foxgloves are popular ornamental plants in gardens and are also used in traditional herbal medicine for their cardiac stimulant properties.
