Footstones
Footstones are flat markers placed at the foot of a grave site to indicate where a person is buried. These markers typically contain the deceased person's name, birth and death dates, and sometimes a brief epitaph or symbol. Footstones are often made of durable materials such as granite, marble, or bronze, and are commonly used in combination with larger headstones or grave markers.
