Flying Squirrel Habitats
Flying squirrel habitats are the various types of environments where flying squirrels are commonly found living and thriving. These habitats typically include dense forests with plenty of tall trees for gliding, as well as access to food sources such as nuts, seeds, and insects. Flying squirrels are known to inhabit both deciduous and coniferous forests, as well as wooded areas near water sources. They prefer to nest in tree cavities, leaf nests, or abandoned bird nests, where they can rest during the day and venture out at night to forage for food. Flying squirrel habitats provide the necessary shelter, food, and protection needed for these nocturnal creatures to survive and reproduce.
