Fixed Income Derivatives
Fixed income derivatives are financial instruments whose value is derived from underlying fixed income securities, such as bonds. These derivatives allow investors to hedge against interest rate risk, speculate on future interest rate movements, or enhance returns on their fixed income investments. Examples of fixed income derivatives include options, futures, swaps, and forwards.
