First Grade Reading
First Grade Reading focuses on developing foundational reading skills for young students, typically aged six to seven. This level of reading instruction introduces basic phonics principles, sight words, comprehension strategies, and vocabulary building. Students at this grade level learn to decode and read simple sentences, short stories, and informational texts with guidance and practice. They also begin to explore different genres of literature, such as fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and fairy tales.
