Eyespots

Eyespots are circular or oval markings that resemble eyes and are found on various animals, including insects, birds, and fish. These markings can serve as a form of protection by intimidating predators or confusing them. Eyespots can also be used for communication within a species, as well as for attracting mates. Additionally, some animals use eyespots as a form of camouflage to blend in with their surroundings or to mimic a larger, more threatening creature.
