Evil in Islam

Evil in Islam refers to actions, beliefs, or entities that are considered to be morally wrong, sinful, or harmful according to Islamic teachings. This includes sins such as lying, stealing, and oppression, as well as beliefs in false gods or practices that go against the teachings of Islam. Evil in Islam is believed to be the work of Shaytan (Satan) and is seen as a test of faith for believers. Muslims are encouraged to seek refuge in Allah (God) from evil and to strive to do good deeds in order to combat evil in all its forms.
