European Art History
European Art History refers to the study and analysis of the artistic movements, styles, techniques, and artists that have emerged from the European continent over the centuries. It encompasses a wide range of periods, including but not limited to the Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassicism, Romanticism, Realism, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, and Modernism. European Art History explores the cultural, social, and political contexts that have influenced the creation of art, as well as the evolution of artistic practices and theories. It examines iconic works of art, such as Michelangelo's "David," Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa," and Vincent van Gogh's "Starry Night," among many others, in order to understand the significance and impact of European art on global artistic traditions.
